About us

Maud and Savoch church covers the two old parishes of Maud Village and the communities of Savoch and Auchnagatt. These rural communities steeped in traditional values of family, community and self-reliance. These values are reflected in the church's approach to Christianity.

Our church community is committed to spreading God's word through Christ's teachings and they are involved in many activities. We welcome visitors and new members and look forward to welcoming you at a service. Recognising that God loves everyone unconditionally, our mission is to provide an environment that enriches worship and welcomes everyone to receive God's love, grow in God's love and share God's love with Jesus Christ as our Light.

Jesus Christ the same Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

We believe in community, family values and fellowship. We offer easy access for elderly & disabled, collecting and personal worship, weddings, christenings, funerals, pastoral visits and a place of calm in a world of turmoil.

We are a body of believers passionate about Jesus Christ, energised by worship and prayer, rooted in Scripture and dedicated to growing God's Kingdom through witness and service.

Our Vision Statement shares this understanding of discipleship. It expresses who we are in part and who we want to be more fully. We view 'making disciples' as a three-step process of 'Call, Grow and Send'

Call - a ministry that leads people to Christ, wins them to Christ, and then involves them in the life of the church and the beginning of their growth as disciples and disciple-makers

Grow - a ministry that transforms lives in Christ, through worship, prayer, connection to a caring community, and Scripture

Send - a ministry that impacts the world for Christ, through words and deeds, witness and service that reaches people with the love of Christ
